Gregory T. Gerken, MAI, AI-GRS, has a Master of Real Estate and Construction Management (M.R.E.C.M.) degree from the University of Denver. Mr. Gerken also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Northern Arizona University in Industrial Management. He is a Member of the Appraisal Institute and is licensed as a Certified General Appraiser in the State of Colorado. Mr. Gerken has over 35 years of experience as a commercial real estate appraiser.
He has extensive experience valuing various real estate interests that are used in litigation, tax disputes and wide-range of eminent domain activities. He has appraised all types of improved commercial properties including office, retail, industrial, multi-family, and special use properties. In addition, Mr. Gerken has appraised numerous parcels of vacant land throughout Colorado including development land, gravel properties, farms and ranches. Greg possesses a diverse experience regarding values of gravel properties, conservation easements, and water rights in Colorado.
Mr. Gerken has testified to real estate values in numerous Colorado District Courts and Federal Courts, and has been appointed by the Courts as a Commissioner to aid the Courts with real estate disputes. Mr. Gerken also does review appraisal work for public entities. His clients are inclusive of property owners, lending institutions, lawyers, as well as a diverse range of various city and state agencies. Mr. Gerken is a Colorado native and he has spent most of his professional career in the Denver Metropolitan Area.
